Senior Connect Corp.'s recent work at Ivy Park Senior Living served as yet another example of the strength of the community and volunteers. With the spirit of Independence Day in the air, we volunteered to make Ivy Park personnel and residents happy and productive. 

    The July Fourth decorations were being taken down after this memorable holiday with assistance from Senior Connect Corp. We put in the time to organize all the Fourth of July decorations to make sure that Ivy Park Senior Living could put them up easily the next year. 

    The time spent conversing with the senior citizens was, aside from taking down the decorations, one of the day's most memorable elements. We had thoughtful discussions, laughed together, and exchanged wisdom and anecdotes from the past. The elders received company as well as a sense of validation and gratitude from these exchanges.
