UNWorldInnovationsDay2023 Hackathon: Igniting Innovation for a Better World

May 19, 2023

I had a great experience participating in the United Nations #worldinnovationday
Hackathon 2023 by Hackmakers.

Challenge Statement: We worked on the GPT4GOOD competition, which attempts to apply generative artificial intelligence (GPT) or any dataset of choice to achieve any of the 17 sustainable development objectives set out by the UN.

The United Nations Sustainable Development Goals 3, 5, 9, 10, and 11 are all addressed by our solution, SerenitySphere/Aroha. We created a prototype to show off an extensive mental health platform that combines a chatbot with a tracking and support system to recognize, monitor, and help people who are having mental health concerns. To proactively identify individuals experiencing mental health issues, the platform may gather data from various sources, including health records and self-reporting. Additionally, it will offer an interactive chatbot that recommends resources, coping mechanisms, and emotional support depending on individual requirements.

Working with cutting-edge technologies like Oracle and Buzzy was a lot of fun Oracle and Buzzy, which can create working apps directly from Figma without any code.

I want to thank our product managers Keming Wang and Prashant for timely providing us with all the necessary datasets and mentors to guide us. Also, I would like to thank the whole MindfulInnovators team too, Umar IjazMuhammad Taimour Afzal KhanUbaid Ur Rehman, and our lead developers Ahtesham Iqbal and Zubair Zafar.

Also a huge shout-out to our mentors Javier MoralesGaurav Mahna Leo AlvaradoLyn Ward, and Zafar Shahid, Ph.D. Sorry if I forgot to include anyone.

But all in all, it was a wonderful experience. We are eager to hear the judges' judgment.
