As a scout from Troop 126, I had the opportunity to participate in a community service project to donate hygiene products to a local homeless shelter in the US. After planning and organizing a collection drive, my troop and I received overwhelming donations from our community. We sorted and counted the items to ensure that we had enough to make a meaningful contribution, and then contacted a local homeless shelter to arrange a drop-off. This project taught me the importance of giving back to my community and helping those who are less fortunate. I am proud of the work that my troop and I did to make a positive impact, and I encourage everyone to find ways to get involved in their communities and make a difference.
